What is Scrip?
"Scrip" is another way of saying "substitute money." That is, when you purchase a Scrip, you are purchasing a cash-equivalent gift certificate.

You can use Scrip to purchase everyday items like groceries, gas, clothing and other essentials.

How Scrip generates revenue for Fancy Cats:
The Great Lakes Scrip Center acts on behalf of churches, schools and other non-profit organizations to purchase large amounts of Scrip from grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers. Because the Scrip is purchased with cash up front and in bulk, participating retailers offer a substantial discount (anywhere from 2-15%, and sometimes more) on Scrip purchases.

Fancy Cats buys each Scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount, and re-sells the certificates to families like yours for full face value. The monetary difference between a Scrip's discount purchase price and resale price is Fancy Cat's revenue.

Scrip is an easy fund raiser because you help Fancy Cats produce revenue by making regular household purchases that you would make anyway!

Process for ordering Scrip:
Please place Scrip orders online using Shop with Scrip. There are no fees for placing an order or having a Scrip account.

Follow the steps below for proper Shop with Scrip registration:

1. Go to the registration form for Shop with Scrip.
2. Complete the registration form and click the "I accept" button.
3. Enter the Fancy Cats Rescue Team Enrollment Code: E451CC5619457
4. Click the "Join" button.

You can then choose to either pay:

1. Online using Presto Pay. Learn more about Presto Pay (PDF)
2. The old fashioned way with a paper check.*
   
   *Note:
   Danielle must receive paper checks before 9 pm on the 2nd Sunday of the each month or your order will not be processed.

Please see the calendar below for order due dates and delivery dates. Scrip orders must be picked up in person at the Fair Lakes PetSmart (unless other arrangements are made in advance) on the Saturday after the 2nd Sunday, between noon and 2:00 pm.
